Check the calendar for your assignment to volunteer at the Farmer's Market.  To sign in, go to the google calendar, sign in – wdmrotary, and password is market2012.  If you can't work on your assigned weekend, please find a replacement.

In place of our meeting on June 17, we are invited attend the meeting on Friday, June 20 at the Olmstead Center at Drake sponsored by the Rotary Club of Des Moines A.M.  The featured speaker will be Naomi Tutu, daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  Breakfast will be at 7:15 with the program beginning at 8:00. A sign-up will be available in advance.

We welcomed this year's high school scholarship recipients:  David Herzog, Jessie Olson, Lillian Sanchez Garcia, Shirdharsha Mailachalam, Lucille Gee, Tara Shattuck, and Samantha Garth.

Giving their commencement speeches were Gus Gustafson and Tanvi Yenna (who gave her speech as a poem – impressive!).

Congratulations to these young people and to all graduating students.
