Our April 22, 2014 Program:

Allison Carlson, member of our club, served as our presenter.  She is a chiropractor in Windsor Heights and is very much concerned with the whole-health of the individual.  While everyone wants to improve their situation, that is not always easy.  Her philosophy is to help people help themselves by 1% every day.  She sponsors a church-based program called “Winning My Race” that is applicable in most settings.  Medical care in the U.S.A. is very good but specializes in trauma and other care after a person is ill vs. preventative care.  She commented that the U.S.A. has 5% of the world population but uses 75% of the drugs.  In short, some changes in diet and lifestyle will pay huge dividends in maintaining a person’s health.  For questions, please reach out to Allison.
