3 MINUTE SPEAKER:

Jeremy Dyvig of the YMCA healthy living center is originally from Humbolt.  He attended to ICCC, then the U of I  He has two children: Audrey 9 and Abram 7. 

 

TODAY'S PRESENTATION:

District governor Jacque Andrew spoke to us.  Of the 64 clubs in District 6000, we were her 50+ club meeting since July.  Jacque has been a Rotarian since 1990.  She lives in Jefferson.

To her, rotary is about Members, Service, and Sharing the Rotary Story.  She shared the inspirational quote "When you do meaningful work for Rotary - Rotary is meaningful to you".

Jacque shared the story transformed her from just attending Rotary to being a Rotarian. Her club joined with other organizations and helped care for a 17 person refuge family from Kosovo.

 

Jacque also spoke about National Immunization day- and shared with us a "Purple pinkie story" and poem that speaks to the procedure of Polio immunization.
